2015 Bargain Bucks Reception

On Monday, June 22, the Bargain Box of Wilmington hosted one of its most important events of the year. Representatives from 14 different social service agencies came to the store to enjoy refreshments, meet the store staff and members of the advisory board, and most importantly, pick up their annual allotment of Bargain Bucks vouchers. These $10 denomination “bucks” will be handed out to their clients to use just like cash at the Bargain Box store. Representatives from agencies such as Good Shepherd Center, NH County Schools, NHC DSS, Interfaith Refugee Ministry, Bread of Life, Tileston Clinic, St. Paul’s Episcopal Church and The Safe House, among others, were there to receive $12,900 in Bargain Bucks for 2015.
